Wootton Toddler Play Park

Updated: May 27, 2022

Daisy & I visited a new park yesterday in Wootton, Bedford.  From what I’ve read online it was created with Toddlers in mind which is perfect for Daisy who is 22 months.  We visited on a very wet and miserable day so most of the equipment was a little too slippy for Daisy to navigate but we were very impressed and will be visiting again soon.

There is a climbing frame and 6 swings for older children as you entered the park and beyond that was the Toddler section. There is also a Skate Park which we didn’t explore.

I feel this park has catered for all toddler age groups, there were 3 climbing frames suitable for all abilities once walking and climbing. There are a total of 4 slides for toddlers and even some little tunnels and a play car. There are lots of interactive toys as well, from speakers you can talk though which are dotted around the park to numbers and shapes your child can play with.

There is a trampoline set into the floor as well as a roundabout and obstacle course. My favourite was the swing which you can swing in and in turn it will swing your baby/toddler. I personally hate pushing Daisy on the swing for ages so this suited us. We couldn’t stop laughing to each other, it was lovely, I can imagine this being nice for siblings too as they can play together.

One thing to note is because the park is still new there is a lot of muddy ground. We were well equipped with waterproof trousers and wellies so just be mindful of this until spring/summer when the wet weather should hopefully change.

The park is around 15/20 minute drive from Milton Keynes and is located behind the Village Hall, our satnav took us straight there. The car park is free and open until 10pm. Use postcode MK43 9EU.
