Daisy & I visited Thrift Farm. The animals all seem so happy and well looked after too, from birds, ducks, geese to lamas, donkeys, ponies, goats, sheep and giant rabbits. You can buy a bag of feed for 50p and feed the goats which are my favourite. They have an outdoor play section with picnic tables a little slide and mini tractors for toddlers.

The in door play section is cute, books, puzzles and even a chalk board. There are a few wash basins but take antibacterial gel if you want to pet the animals.
The Food4thought cafe was lovely, housing gifts, cakes and homemade food, I had the freshly made broccoli and Stilton soup. The cafe also has a section for kids with a little kitchen, toys books and puzzles.
Overall I absolutely loved this farm for more reasons just than the animals. Thrift Farm may be closing down which devastates me as I’ve only just discovered it, this farm helps more people than just those who work there. Please go to Facebook or google search – ‘Thrift Farm Petition’ in the hope to save this place. And as always, please tag me over on Instagram @theoutdoorsmum
