Ampthill Park

Updated: May 27, 2022

Today we went to Ampthill park after a few recommendations from you guys. We had a great time, the carpark is quite small but we managed to find a space along the road which was free. We walked through the woods to the park. It’s enclosed which is great and is well spaced out.

There are 4 slides, one tiny little climbing frame which is the same as the one in MK Village Park. It’s very much an old school park but with a very new modern climbing frame in the middle. The new climbing frame was more suited to 3 years and above however Daisy (almost 2) was able to climb the steps and use the slide. She loved the old fashioned roundabout and trying to climb the netted rope.

The park has 4 baby swings and is surrounded by woodland. We ventured into the forest afterwards and Daisy loved playing in the twig dens and crunching the leaves under her feet. We even found our first painted rock.

There is a lovely cafe and two really clean well looked after loos! Use postcode MK45 2HX
